Healthy eating is water that brings all the essential nutrients and power that each person needs to keep healthy.
A well-fed person has more opportunities to:
-Fully develop
-with health
-Learn and work better
-Protect yourself from diseases.
Eating healthily, in addition to improving the quality of life at all ages, has been shown to prevent the development of diseases such as:
-Obesity
-Diabetes
-Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases
-Arterial hypertension
-Dyslipemia
-Osteoporosis
-Some types of cancer
-Anemia
-Infections
To eat healthy it is recommended:
-Consume per day 2 fruits and 3 portions of vegetables of all types and color preferably raw
-At lunch and dinner, half a plate of vegetables and dessert a fruit
-Incorporate legumes, whole grains, seeds and dried fruits.
-Eat red or white meats (chicken or fish) no more than 5 times a week.
-Cooking without salt. Replace with parsley, basil, thyme, rosemary and other condiments.
-Limit sugar and alcohol intake.
What is Vitamin A?
Vitamin A helps maintain good vision. It also provides benefits to the heart, lungs and kidneys, among other organs.
Vitamin A is found in meat, fish and milk products.
What is Vitamin B?
Vitamin B helps to form red blood cells. They are found in fish, poultry, beef, eggs and dairy products. Green leafy vegetables, beans and beans also have B vitamins. Some B vitamins have also been added to some cereals and breads.
